Founder, Owner
Torie Poser
For more than 20 years, Torie has devoted her time, knowledge, and energy to rural America. A native Montanan with a bachelor’s degree from Black Hills State University and a master’s degree from Minnesota State University, Mankato, she understands the nuances “rural” brings to recruiting and retaining staff. She’s built successful programs, hired countless professionals and physicians, and created systems that highlight the sustainability - and genuine joy - of building a career in rural communities.
Bryan Lund
Director of Recruitment
Bryan, a Montana native, built his career on strong leadership and a people‑first approach. After starting in retail management, he spent more than a decade at a Montana critical access hospital, eventually serving as Support Services Manager. He joined GoRural full‑time in 2024, keeping things running smoothly and ensuring every partnership feels steady and well‑cared‑for. He’ll tell you he’s not quite as fun as Torie, but he’s great at what he does.

Shaney Crowley
Recruiter & Marketing
Shaney was born and raised in Dundee, Scotland, and moved to the United States in 2018 to pursue collegiate soccer and her education, ultimately earning a Psychology degree from Rocky Mountain College. She has experience in social media marketing and currently manages campaigns and content for GoRural. In her free time, she loves fitness, spending time with her husband, and caring for their cat, Cheesecake
Krista Stevens
Recruiter
Krista is another proud Montana native, born and raised on a ranch in rural Montana. After graduating from Lewistown Fergus High School, she headed to Missoula to attend the University of Montana - Go Griz!
She’s worked in a variety of professional roles but found her interest in the legal world while working for a local attorney. Krista supports GoRural with sourcing and screening candidates, helping connect great people with great opportunities in rural communities.
